Halloween wednesday: Facts 2014 Zombie inspired make-up

Hi everyone! Today I want to show you how I did the make-up on my zombie at Facts 2014 at the En-Phaz booth. A full list of materials can be found below.

Note: I am nowhere an as good artist as Steve (En-phaz) is. He is a pro, and makes awesome make-ups, I just do this in my free time for fun.

- regular foundation
- white foundation
- red eyeshadow or lipstick
- brown eyeshadow
- black eyeshadow
- blue and purple eyeshadow
- liquid latex
- cotton
- fake blood
- tooth enamel

Step 1: apply an even base of pale make-up on your face. I mix a normal foundation with white cream foundation by Stargazers.

Step 2: use red eyeshadow or lipstick to create creases in your face. Apply this where hollow spots would be.

Step 3: repeat step 2 with a brown color to create more depth.

Step 4: apply some black eyeshadow around your eyes to make them even more sunken in

Step 5: make your lips pale with a bit of foundation, then apply a tiny bit of purple and blue eyeshadow on your lips to make them seem bruised

Step 6: decide where you want your wounds and apply a thin coat of liquid latex

Step 7: apply some cotton on the liquid latex, be fast because otherwhise it won't stick to the latex

Step 8: apply a coat of latex on top of the cotton to set it

Step 9: create a wound, open up the latex

Step 10: put some black eyeshadow on the inside of the wound for depth, then apply some skin toned color to the latex to make it seem like actual skin (use steps 1,2 and 3 for this)

Step 11: add fake blood, I use two different kinds (clear red and aged blood) they are from Minque.nl

Step 12: if you want to you can get black teeth as well, get your teeth really dry (with a tissue) and then apply some tooth enamel, this way you get them looking pretty grose!

Become the zombie you've always wanted to be!
